Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard is the 2024-25 NBA Sixth Man of the Year. He’s the fourth Celtic to win the award, joining Kevin McHale, Bill Walton and Malcolm Brogdon. He had the most points off the bench (1,079) this season. He set an NBA single-season record for threes off the bench (246).

This stock market crash thing is so confusing. On one hand you have every economist and bank in the free world freaking out. On the other, there are some blue check accounts on Twitter with ancient statues as their profile pics doing 20 part threads on why down is the new up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It took me five days, but I finally have my response to the compelling New York Times article "At Black Colleges, a Stubborn Gender Enrollment Gap Keeps Growing"

My pitch to enroll more black men: sell more of the social value of the college experience.

Lower black male enrollment calls for reimagining the college experience
An article by the New York Times about the concerning trend of black male enrollment in college should lead to interesting conversations.

Corey Booker is standing on business. 🙏🏾 Gonna listen to his filibuster speech after I get off and try to hear in full.

I just sent Cory Booker money. I will send money to anyone who fights, and I will not send money to anyone who cowers in fear. That has to be the situation, for all of us.

New in PN: John Roberts created a monster. It's about to eat him.

"After all, how can the rightwing justices expect a future president — particularly a Democratic one — to accept rulings limiting the exercise of their power from a Court that served as the judicial stooge of an aspiring dictator?"
John Roberts created a monster. It's about to eat him.
The Supreme Court faces an existential dilemma of its own creation.

Clyburn: "People better get serious about this. When he says he's not joking about throwing away the Constitution, which is what he'd have to do to have a third term, and we are not gonna rise up in opposition to that? I think it's time for us all to wake up."

I just don’t get really smart people saying that there isn’t a huge difference between the Republicans and Democrats.

And it’s WILD people have said and are saying that there wasn’t a huge difference in how a Kamala Harris presidency would go versus how a Trump Presidency is going.

Now that the dust has settled, what a great job by
1) Team security and coaches to break the fight up
2) The fans not to go crazy when it spilled into the stands. Could've easily gone to a Malice at the Palace type situation, but those fans kept their cool and didn't escalate it.

Also, it’s like a Sunday lol the protesters were probably off and decided to pull up 😂🤷🏾‍♂️
The worst people in the world are like "They must be getting paid to hate me" when in reality everyone is happy to hate them for free

Same way I feel about Isaiah Stewart, I feel about Dillon Brooks.

Draymond Green is a four-time champion and former Defensive Player of the Year. Stewart and Brooks ain’t that, even though Brooks is a bit more decorated in his career.

That ain’t sustainable.
Isaiah Stewart honestly makes me so upset with his approach to the game because he could be a promising role player.

But instead, he wants to be the literal embodiment of the player that fans that call everything players do “soft” want to see more of.

He’s the great value Draymond Green.

Liberal Supreme Court letting Musk skate. It’s insane.

And you know they’re doing this because they don’t want the perception that they’re engaging in “election interference” and the voters will be the check and balance 🙄 Like November huh?

Just can’t stand on business against an oligarch.

Norm Powell Is Proving You Can Peak in Your 30s
He’s always gotten buckets. But now Powell is doing it in a starting role. The result? Ten seasons in, he’s transformed into the Los Angeles Clippers’ leading scorer and a borderline All-Star.

President Trump did not rule out the possibility of seeking a third term in the White House, which is prohibited by the Constitution under the 22nd Amendment, saying in an exclusive interview with NBC News that there were methods for doing so and clarifying that he was “not joking.”

I feel that his “I don’t know” shtick should be a bigger story.

Military details leaked out and the Commander in Chief didn’t know about it?

Top advisers are using a private messaging app and the President doesn’t know what it is?

Feels like that is very concerning for someone leading our country
