Turns out if you spend the whole morning cooking 10lbs of mashed potatoes and forget to eat but instead have spent hours smelling the most incredible potatoes you will, in fact, suddenly be Very Hungry when you stop mashing potatoes and will be Very Sad that you can't eat the delicious potatoes

Trying to plan my next DnD session by re-reading my various scattered lore notes and came across an NPC who I gave no further information on beyond "slightly depressed French man in charge of Your spy network" and that feels like a tagline I need on a shirt now.

I've only been watching Silksong streams (if I played it I would ragequit within 5 minutes, I'm protecting my peace) but rn I want to get the game solely to hang out with Bell Beast. I just wanna chill in the bell pit and wiggle with Bell Beast all day. Best part of the game 10/10.

I'm DMing my first DnD campaign for some friends this fall (I've DMed oneshots before, but hoo boy it's been a while)! Should I be planning actual encounters and hooks? Yes. Am I getting distracted by having an excuse to draw fancy fantasy maps? Yes. Leave me and my mountain ranges alone.

Stepped outside for exactly 2.5 seconds and got a wasp up my pants. They were very polite and didn't sting me but also didn't want to leave my house (or the inside of my pants) and I think I will not be going back outside today for the sake of my blood pressure.

This has been the year of every piece of expensive tech I own breaking in some way. My bank account hurts.
It has made me develop a love of taking electronics apart to see if I can fix them, though. They're like lego sets to me now. Even if I can't fix them 85% of the time.
