Every day, I am less inclined to wake up and go to work. I am so far down the chain of command that my job isn't in danger of a purge, and I have little to no impact on anything. But it's so depressing and disheartening to be a federal employee. It's like being a low-level henchman for a villain.

If you do creative work for hire your contracts likely specifically forbid the use of AI. Turn it off and let google know they are compromising your livelihood.

I got a fucking email this morning about the canceling of all DEI related activities at work. The email also said that if I am aware of any such activities, I have 10 days to report it and failure to do so WILL (not may) incur punitive actions.🤡

Pros: Preportioned medicine in little gogurt tubes. Satchets of pills with convenient labels. A dazzling and colorful array of antibiotics and analgesics.
Cons: I have to taste every molcule of cough syrup drag itself across my tongue. It's cheap as heck because of SoCiaLIsM.
