It's distressing that the longer it takes to meet the goal, the more the goal needs to be extended, the less likely people are to help. Winter weather continues to damage the tents people are living in, necessitating repairs.

Ceasefires, like negotiations, have become another battlefield where Tel Aviv stalls and Washington scripts the outcome. Gaza’s future is already being written, and not by Palestinians.
