Yall real silent about disability injustices because most of you don’t see disability as a thing that can happen to you.

We are “aww those poor people”. Meanwhile disability can happen to anyone at any moment and those injustices you ignored? They become your experiences too

i spend a lot of time in bed. it’s finally been warm enough to open the windows. yesterday i heard a woodpecker. today i heard the unmistakable shriek of a black kite and looked outside to see it perched in the treetops. i got the binoculars out to get a good look.
i guess i’m a bedside birder now?

INCREDIBLE Ruling!

Judge Reyes just ruled that transgender people have served honorably in the military, judges Trumps trans military ban - which states trans people are inherently dishonorable - as unconstitutional and motivated by animus.

Trans military members may continue to serve.

one of my favorite pastimes is to open the ebay app and look at the gorgeous $900 rug i’m watching. i’m not liable to purchase this rug. but i love it and no one else has bought it yet either.

i always wondered if nerds clusters were good.
in an effort to use the full amount on a gift card, i ordered a bag along with other things we needed.
perhaps i was better left wondering, because know i know they’re so good and i ate… a lot of them.

9 days later, on Jan 23, Wuhan, China was placed on lockdown. The first recorded P2P spread in the US was 16 days later, on Jan 30.

The second best time to start preparing is now. (the best time would have been, well, earlier).

Masks now. Plan now. Deep pantry as you can.

today, we tried a japanese pie chain. dutch crumble from the regular menu (L) and limited edition granny smith (R).
the dutch crumble was so bad we tossed it. as their only “normal” apple pie regularly, WHY does it contain molasses?!!?
the granny smith was… ok.

worst apple pie i’ve ever had.
