カーター・マッケンドリ (he/him) I enjoy that media you hate. Computer nerd. Japan dork. Horror geek. Comic book guy. Sci fi fanboy. Not necessarily in that order. Enthusiast, not connoisseur.

Once silently shared an elevator with David Morse while visiting a museum
Once got out of the way as Harvey Keitel exited the Time Warner Cable customer service office looking PISSED
Once crossed the street alongside Tim Robbins, who was carrying hockey gear
Once ate cajun food near Stephen Colbert
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

I should watch more movies. but I want to watch them with oomfs, and scheduling becomes an issue. this wouldn't be a problem if they simply dropped everything they were doing for my benefit

I just dropped an earbud, bent over, picked it up, and, as I was jamming it in my ear, realized it was a blueberry I had dropped, and could not find, earlier in the day.

In accordance with my new year's resolution for 2025 of actually using letterboxd properly, I can now tell you that I saw 58 movies in theaters this year (not counting repeats). Of these, 14 were new releases and 44 were revivals/re-releases. Let's see if I can break 60 next year!

This did actually arrive!! (today)
So I ordered something from America earlier this month. It went from Ohio to Illinois over the course of six days, which Google Maps says is equivalent to a standard walking pace, and that appears to be its final resting place. I know it's December and the US has a lot going on right now but...uh...

I've actually never seen this in a theater before, so I'm pretty excited! The "IMAX" thing might be kind of gilding the lily but honestly these Toho screens aren't THAT big so it's probably fine
