Encouraging info from CM Chavez. My issue here is that the entire history of Big Tech is doing illegal things and daring people to stop them, which rarely happens. We need to say a robot can't drive AND provide a framework for strong penalties when the companies inevitably ignore that law.
My understanding is that state law requires a human driver.
According to MPR, Waymo hired lobbyists to explore the possibility of changing state laws to allow for the operation of autonomous vehicles.
I’d be supportive of an ordinance that requires a human to be physically present.

The ordinance would require the city's worst landlords, in that tier 3 category, to go before the city council to renew their license. If the license is not renewed, a plan will be developed to get the property up to city standards.

There are 160 tier 3 rental licenses in Minneapolis covering 2260 units. It takes a lot of effort at being a slumlord to get a tier 3. You have to rack up a lot of violation points. Problem is the current process to renew involves simply paying extra for the license.

suitor has a brief opening statement. the doorknocking statute holds it unlawful for a person to deny access to a multi family home property to a properly registered candidate. this is straightforward and happened to wonsley and wilson 12 times by wall
