For many of us, boundaries were never modelled in healthy ways.

We were often told that having needs made us selfish or difficult.

We learned that to be accepted, we had to adapt, accommodate, and absorb.

A reminder:

speculation on the budget is only going to get worse over the next few weeks.

But the Chancellor with NOT confirm anything until she gives her speech in the Commons.

Don't believe anyone who tells you with certainty they know what's in the budget unless it's Rachel Reeves on 26th Nov.

@warrenoates1.bsky.social is there any truth in the media suggestion that Rachel Reeves is looking at taxing EV drivers?

NHS recovery continues with above 2.4% productivity growth.

Thanks to the Labour government, record capital investment & the hard work of NHS staff, the NHS outperforms its productivity target of 2%.

Time and again the Tories try to destroy the NHS and it's left to Labour to repair it.

The 2.4% figure is for April to July 2025.

It builds on the 2.7% productivity increase across the last financial year.

It's achieved by:

more same-day discharges
shorter hospital stays
better use of technology
fewer agency staff,
improved staff retention
more evening / weekend appointments
