Minneapolis GC - it is quiet, it is subtle but it is a great Donald Ross and Willie Park Jr designed golf course. Definitely a course you could play everyday and never get tired of it

1) Firmness—challenges pros, gives ams more distance

2) Short grass around the greens—makes pros uncomfortable, allows ams to putt

3) Open green fronts—pros don't usually care what's in front of the green, many ams do

4) Biggish greens with smallish pinnable sections—hard birdie, easy bogey

Last week I wrote about one of my favorite golf holes in MN. I know it may seem like a bold claim given Highland is just a Saint Paul Muni but this hole just always puts a smile on my face.

The Lafayette Club located on Lake Minnetonka in MN. Little 9 Hole Private track has some awesome little holes but it also might be one of the most scenic in Minnesota
