Funny story. I built a team to redo to companies ci/cd pipeline and cloud infra. We created a tool that orchestrated ci/cd. Since this is devops, and it is easy to hire devops with go exp, we chose go. One dev went rogue, rewrote it in rust, and I inherited it as the only other rust dev.
How did you get your first job programming with Rust?
I have a suspicion that most people just added Rust to their company's tech stack before it was officially sanctioned, thus creating a Rust job.

Even checking your schematic and PCB design three times does not guard against mixing up R1 and R2 in a voltage divider to set the output voltage of a buck converter.

What a loss. Truly too early.
I shouldn't have said that. My 3 year old Mercedes decided to die on my when trying to drive home from personal training. Turn the key. Nothing works. No ignition. No motor start. Nothing.
Modern cars are absolute garbage.

1. I’ve barely invested any time in learning how to use it effectively. AI sucks.
2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.
Position #1 has lower barriers to entry.

On the weekend, I used my new stereo microscope for the first time on an actual soldering project.
God damnit, this is so much more relaxing compared to squinting over the PCB with magnifying goggles (or without any magnification).
Worth every penny.
