hello out there, I'm Ripley, and I'm a queer digital illustrator and fiction writer!

- I primarily draw/write abt my own projects (limited fan art)

They are wearing a baggy Taylor Swift hoodie they borrowed from their aunt, who cut slits in the sleeves to give in a Renaissance vibe (don't ask, idk either). They are also wearing hiking pants and boots, and an over the shoulder bag with their water bottle clipped to the strap.

if you don't do the research, or half ass the research (gAI is half-assing it. full stop.) then you get at best ahistorical nonsense, or worse, straight up lies.

There's Discourse about using genAI for writing research, and I want to add that every time I've done research (reading books, emailing the library, talking directly to experts, etc) I always stumble across something that inspires a new direction or adds depth that wouldn't have been there before.
