Who knew creating a tutorial would be such a headache. But it has to be done one way or another.

I am creating a game tenatively called Deep Kore at the moment. I had a major breakthrough in the creation process, and I hope to share more about the game as I prepare it for early access. I originally wanted to kickstart it and have a demo... but early access makes more sense for this type of game

My last post was a bit disparaging, and for that, I apologize. It is never so bleak as that. I have recently started editing a novel of mine, the first time ever doing this, as I was never adequately prepared to create a second draft. The editing process was glossed over in school, now I know better

I am Arthur T. Wood, an author who has never published a work, and a solo game dev that has never finished a project. I am the roadblock that stands in my own way; as I have branched out and showed off the scraps of my work, this has become apparent. I am talented, professionally so, yet I say nay.

I'm stuck in that solo dev place where I've been deep in the weeds implementing parts of gameplay, which means I have nothing to show.

I want to work on some graphics to be able to show stuff off to people so my feed isn't just text, but I'm on such a roll with gameplay programming.

Maple Forest's final Kickstarter promo reel! Just under fourteen hours until the campaign ends! Please consider pledging or sharing. We're almost at the final stretch goal, which would add gorgeous full color to the game!!

Thanks so much, everyone! 🍃🎵

We're on the last day of Maple Forest's Kickstarter (www.kickstarter.com/projects/nat...), and we're REALLY close to the final stretch goal, which would be a FULL COLOR OPTION for the game!

I think it looks super pretty!! I'm really hyped to add it to the game! Just a bit further! \ o /

Writing a novel is not merely going on a shopping expedition across the border to an unreal land: it is hours and years spent in the factories, the streets, the cathedrals of the imagination. Janet Frame, New Zealand author (1924–2004)
