As the eyes in the darkness surround us, we sharpen sticks with our backs to the light between danger & our loved ones. This long night requires more than hunters though- we need people to keep the fire lit, to teach and tell stories, and those who still hold joy to sing and dance around the fire.

I don't want to hear anybody calling for protesters to be peaceful. Peace is ideal, but when the other side is going to be violent regardless you're not calling for peace by asking the oppressed to be peaceful. What you're asking for is less mess and drama while they die.

I would add to this that another larger danger is that we become completely untrusting of everything we see which is the same as trusting everything. That is literally deadly to civilization as a concept. A nuke would be less harmful.

I would add to this that another larger danger is that we become completely untrusting of everything we see which is the same as trusting everything. That is literally deadly to civilization as a concept. A nuke would be less harmful.

Nobody you want to emulate does. That's the point. The people who made the rules are either long dead, sociopathically rich and out of touch, plain evil, or some combination thereof. Be gay. Do crime. It's often the most ethical choice.

When you are a bystander and hear something go down, your instincts want to listen for more before "overreacting". Lethal violence or kidnapping is usually over in seconds and is surprisingly quiet. If you're attacked, make A LOT of noise, drag it out. Bystanders: Don't overthink, you got +/- 30secs

Do you want to know how early Americans knew about Nazi concentration camps? 1933. It took 11 years before any camps were liberated. Everyone was too busy with their own affairs. Nobody invaded the country over how they treated their own people. Rescue isn't coming. Build the resistance now.
