On this date in 1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the imperial forces of Japan. The loss of life and destruction was horrific, and it pulled the U.S. into the war.

Today, after just a week in Scorpio, the Sun crosses Ophiuchus, where it will visit for three weeks.
Sooo, if you thought you were Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21) you’re actually a Scorpio, or more likely an Ophiuchan.

Just as a heads up, no legitimate astrologer actually uses Ophiuchus. All Modern and Traditional astrologers that I know of use the traditional 12 zodiac signs. This lie gets spread by astronomers a lot as a way of dunking on astrology.
Not every placement in an astrology natal chart represents an aspect of your personality. Some may manifest through certain events in your life, or represent certain people. It’s common for one’s parents and/or siblings to be represented.

I’m one of those astrologers that utilizes the Traditional systems of Western astrology, but adds elements of the Modern branch where it makes sense. For example, I do use Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto but not as sign rulers and only when they form aspects with other placements.

I think what throws a lot of people off when they come to magick and the occult is that there’s no “one size fits all” thing. They’re so used to religions touting that they have a fix for everything, which we all know is a lie. That’s not how magick works and that’s not how the universe works.
