I discovered @nootziq.art the other day and they draw trolls so beautifully and their rendering was so gorgeous it made me to want to try and push my shading more towards proper rendering. Not...entirely sure I achieved that but I'm pretty proud of the attempt none the less.

Some old sketches from the archives, circa 2008ish, from an old wow forums post called "You Awaken In Razor Hill". Featuring Ted Nuget, orc hunter extraordinare, his pet CatScratch, Larry the starving amphibious shark, and Pyramid Hogger. Yes, it is as insane as it sounds.

Mine tend to run the gamut of outcasts who see no other way, or feel like there's no point to trying to be anything else, to literal amoral sociopaths and serial killers. No shortage of evil acts, but only a few are on the irrideemably pure evil side of the fence. They are there, though.

While I get the whole “numbers on your art is arbitrary!! Enjoy yourself” mindset. I think some ppl need to understand visibility can directly affect your livelihood if art is your only way for income.

That last part "Trying is more important thank liking it" is super underrated and important. Don't feel like you have to "save" something for when you're ready. We're never ready, never perfect. They've re-released Skyrim like, 8 times. If they can do the same thing over and over, why can't we?
