Given the huge tuberculosis outbreak in Kansas and the muzzling of our Centers for Disease Control and Preparedness by our administration, I figure this is timely information.

New bread recipe! Gluten Free bread from the store is expensive AND not tasty. Not QUITE as tall as theirs - I think my yeast might be a little old.

At work, I realized I was taking deep satisfaction in tidying up files from the previous year, doing record retention housekeeping, standardizing some file names. Maybe I didn't grow up wanting to be a government clerk, but I AM good at it. Try running a government without detail oriented humans!

Today I took 85 calls at work, while having walk up customers (3) and dispatch calls (12+). Have you worked in a call center? This is 'salary savings'. Think of that when you hear people talk about lazy government workers. I have spent 4 months doing 2x 40hr a week jobs, but paid for 1. #crispy
