Like the shift from autism awareness to autism acceptance, being aware of an issue or a community or a population that is in need of support, or a problem that needs to be addressed, is generally not bad, but it doesn't actually do shit for that issue/community. You have to actually Do Something.

there's a world where Trump gets elected and slowly consolidates power, pursuing priorities in careful order, making each subsequent step harder to oppose. this is not that world. this is a smash and grab.

As healthcare providers, we need to stand up for all of our patients, normalize providing this care, and resist attempts to sanction it. Gender affirming care is life saving, and it should be accessible to anyone who wants it.

Wonder if people will be silent as hospitals comply with that too.
