I'm sad to see Jrue Holiday go. He and his family had talked about making Boston home. He was such a massive part of the 2024 title. Really enjoyed his time with the Celtics.

Yet another reason Pete Rose sucks is that he’s taking ballot space away from candidates worthy of consideration, whether it’s Whitaker, some unjustly overlooked Negro Leagues star, or another player who slipped through the cracks but never did anything to earn a “permanent” ban
I just realized that these reinstatements effectively screw over Lou Whitaker for yet another turn of the veterans committee.
