"we just fell in love with convoluted regulations for no reason and need to fall back in love with building things" is a lazy misdirection away from the fact that corporate power and extreme wealth have so grotesquely corrupted the American experiment it no longer serves the public interest

This is evil.
I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

“Stop calling me a Nazi” says the hateful angry mayonnaise butt baby doing ethnic cleansing and authoritarian propaganda in front of the militarized police vehicle.
Vance: "If you want stop political violence, stop telling your supporters that everybody who disagrees with you is a Nazi."

Vance is a liar.
JD Vance: “Charlie Kirk never said Black women do not have brain processing power to be taken seriously. He never uttered those words.”

Charlie Kirk: “Joy Reid, Michelle Obama, Ketanji Brown Jackson — you do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken seriously.”

Oh heavens! I was rude to a billionaire. I DO hope he wasn’t scathed.
You dumb son of a bitch. Warren’s proposal would have put the money in the hands of a legitimate democratic government well situated to allocate it appropriately. You’re just throwing cash at a rapist goon to prop up an oligarchy of idiots. You’re all fucking monsters.

Sure looks like a duck. Sounds like a duck. Smells like shit.

The current court is deeply shameful.
The Supreme Court’s “shadow docket” has cast very different shadows depending on which party holds the White House.

When lower courts blocked Trump admin policies, SCOTUS intervened on an emergency basis to lift those orders in 77% of cases.

For the Biden administration, that number was 0%.

Real Senator addressing absolutely critical stuff. Thank you.
What's up with Justice Jackson? She started making her mark and speaking out early, and some of her dissents are so pointed Kagan and Sotomayor don’t even join them. The far right is out for her, and even Republican justices are getting snarky.

So what's up? Here’s my take 🧵

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

1/ A 🧵 to explain his plan and how we fight back.

These are the two most impactful cases of this century, and the rot they injected into our jurisprudence and democratic systems will ALWAYS be John Robert’s evil legacy. Abhorrent decisions.
If you were looking for a unified theory explaining the last 20 years of Supreme Court politics, you could do a lot worse than “Citizens United was a direct reaction to Obama winning, and Shelby County was a direct reaction to Obama winning again”

The men carrying out Musk's coup are Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran.

Make them famous. And, eventually, when possible, arrest them and charge them with multiple felonies. www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

Washington Post is utterly corrupted. Censoring political cartoons because they might chafe the oligarchs (for accurately portraying them as toady oligarchy) is absolutely despicable. WaPo should be ashamed.

It's dizzying to think about how easily and noiselessly you can be plucked from your life and entered into a system built to manufacture the justification of your murder and no amount of love or evidence, no visibility, no mobilization of a community formed under your name can save you
