Nobody said that. Trump claims that tariffs have zero impact on prices that US consumers pay. We said that is false. Tariffs impact US importers, US consumers, US manufacturers, US exporters, and our trading partners overseas. Everyone loses in trade wars except tax collectors.

I've successfully pressed Flock, a license plate surveillance company, to protect Oregonians from abusive queries of data by out-of-state law enforcement. This surveillance is a massive privacy problem, and I'll keep working to expand these same protections to every American.

If voters are horrified, they cannot forget that Rs are solely responsible for the cruelest, most destructive, and most inhumane bill in decades. ..The bill now moves to the House, where every Republican who votes for this cruel compact will soon face the wrath of voters.
Republicans refuse to admit that they are hurting ordinary, hard-working Americans... To do otherwise would be confession of their inhumanity. ..MAGA politicians convince themselves those who rely on vital benefits are unfit and undeserving. Republicans dub them “rats” or “vermin” or “murderers.”
their greatest moral failure is arguably not lack of courage but rather lack of empathy. They simply do not care about the pain they are inflicting on others.
