I've not been involved with Valiant since the release of LIFE AND DEATH OF TOYO HARADA in 2019, but it would break my heart of Valiant went all in on right wing bullshit. Our Valiant was a universe that punched up. That dealt frankly with the complications of power & raged against anti-humanism.
Sorta feels like they have two paths here: boot him or go all in on the far right, doubling down on all the awful and turning away a lot of their audience in the process.

It is, quite frankly, a stupendous book. Like Dredd itself it manages to take comics as a jumping off point for a much wider discussion without ever demeaning the art form itself. It’s a serious book about serious matters that you should take seriously, one of which happens to be comics.
