You cannot win America back using violence. You will fail, you will give the fascists what they want.

The fascists have all the guns, they own violence. You do not.

You can only win with nonviolence:

Shut the country down! No working, as little buying things as possible, shut it all down.

Trump really is trying to destroy America. He has ginned up this idea that there are Red states and Blue states, instead of the United States. I think (and hope) that we will outlast him. One year down, three to go.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future – a lesson that feels especially relevant today.

Note to self: Just because you can't make mistakes a younger person would have avoided. When the wife buys a nice new green dress, then asks you how she looks in it, the one answer you should not give is 'Fiona-ish'.

It's been 5 years since I made that mistake, and I'm still reminded of it.

FYI, looks like covid is still doing the rounds. Been feeling 'under the weather'. Symptoms are mild, no fever, slight cough and sore throat, but taste has completely gone. Things with known taste profiles don't taste as they should. Orange, Chocolate, Cola, all just wrong at present.

Teala Davies is an Epstein survivor. She’s fought back, turning private trauma into a public reckoning.
All survivors deserve justice. The pedo in the WH, his cohorts & his enablers require consequences.
Enough already.

Odd that Gaza has dropped from the news headlines. I'm fairly sure all the problems in that area have not been solved, fairly sure people are dying needlessly, and not aware of any plan that has been implemented to restore normality to the population. When will journalists be allowed to report?

QQ. If you are in possession of an unreleased Epstein file, after the date all Epstein files should have been released, are you personally prosecutable for that offence?

This can’t go on. UK news shows have got to start calling Nigel Farage out on this ridiculous bull****. Please start doing your job - for all our sakes
If UK news shows are going to give Nigel Farage a platform to spout this absolute boll**** about Brexit & the vaccine rollout (unchallenged) I’ll happily come back every week to correct it.

We cannot allow him & others to rewrite history.

To those interested in #Metallurgy QQ. As steel cools, would introducing high frequency vibration change the structure in any way ?
Would you end up with fewer flaws, different properties, quicker cooling times etc.

Switch codes. Follow a recently released book with an old classic. Then switch to something quick, followed by a tome. Don't lock yourself into one area. Personally Gerald Seymore writes a good thriller, Ian M Banks for SF, biographies of people you never heard of, history books of events etc.

The British Medical Council recommend no more than 10 units of alcohol a week, for a man of my age. I've just done an audit of my relaxation cabinet. Wine, beer, bubbly, spirits, and liqueurs. After a quick spreadsheet was created it seems I'm good for just over a year, 57 weeks to be accurate.

Just reorganised my house alcohol supply into a new shelving unit. It appears I don't need to buy any for the next decade or so.

7 bottles of half drunk gin, 8 cans of high strength stout, 9 bottles of bubbly, a mixed case of wine. All mixed into about 3 score general bottles. New liver on order
