Far be it from me to criticize one of the oldest traditions in gaming, but the boss fight where the gimmick is "stationary boss with a really, really big health bar" is so much worse than the "boss who has a second phase with two new attacks". And they dont have to be boring. Belial in D3 is fun

One of the most interesting periods in global, especially human history, is the Younger Dryas Warming Period. And I take it very personally that some fucking mophead from England has ruined my ability to bring the topic up in any serious matter.

Altman has been quite clear about his strategy.

From the 2008 crash he learned that if you bind enough of the economy to your business you can do whatever you like; government will decide the rules no longer apply.

What he's selling is unaccountabilty.
I honestly don’t get the value of this company. They hoover up energy and water. Their product constantly gets things wrong and, in extreme cases, coaches people into suicide.

And it’s all built on what seems to be malicious and vast intellectual property theft.

What does OpenAI offer the world?
“authors & publishers who filed a lawsuit against the Sam Altman-led firm have secured access to internal Slack messages… discussing the mass deletion of a pirated books dataset… A NY district court ordered OpenAI to hand over the communications regarding data deletion”

Elevated Horror is a terrible term and possibly the worst sub-genre term in use. We should all stop using this title, as it is both damaging to the genre as a whole and a disservice to those titles that carry the genre. In this essay I will...

Goodnight everyone, and if you accidentally got an extremely recognizable Nazi symbol tattoo years ago and keep forgetting to get it covered up, maybe do that tomorrow and don’t spend any more extra years with an extremely recognizable Nazi symbol tattooed on your body

If you know basic kabbalah it's actually not too hard to make a golem out of a labubu. Don't recommend it though. They have a pre-existing body-dharma. As soon as they wake they run straight for the sea. V hard to counter. Lost the first one. No idea what it's doing out there. Moved like lightning.

Every day it becomes more apparent that the DNC is not only lacking a coherent message, presence in local politics, and clear unified policy, but the party has been entirely abandoned by national leadership.
