I see this with Halloween/Xmas updates where you have to play during the season to earn limited time rewards. These games don’t have to take the stuff out but will do so anyway to generate FOMO

What they needed to do was cut like 80% of the dialogue, and in Brotherhood the Apple reveal could have come sooner.

Agree but I never looked at the booklet first. I love how they often have illustrations that don’t exist anywhere else.

yeah Astrobot is cool but a lot of feats were tech based or using Sony's controller while Vampire Survivors and Balatro any dev can implement the design of.

I remember being in grade school playing the NA version of a Japanese game and learning a word when something's been translated to a odd choice of word. Like 'rucksack' for backpack in Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life.
