10 years ago, if group of miscellaneous people were hauled out of bedrooms, work & off the street & flown without hearing to brutal prison in El Salvador, you would have said must be in Chile or Russia or China, not US. "Can't happen here." It is happening here . Why are you now allowing it?

Trump said he’d end the war in the Middle East then sent $12 billion in weapons to Israel and started bombing Yemen.

At the same time, he’s criminalizing anti-war speech and repressing dissent.

This is an authoritarian who'll throw us into another senseless war funded by your taxpayer dollars.

Damn right. If they aren't worried that we will remember and remind them, they should be.
They act like they don't work for us.

But they do.

And we're going to make them remember.

It's time for a data-rich and technologically savvy society to track constituent opinions and compare them to the actions of their representatives.

We have the means to communicate and tally, we have the expertise in sampling and wrangling data, and we have enough infrastructure to collect it all.

It is past time for non-pac-funded candidates to represent the people and push out any politician that answers to anyone other than the people they represent.

Stop donating to DNC or any candidate who doesn't represent their constituents.

Yes a shutdown would have consequences.

And a Republican President, Republican House, and Republican Senate would be responsible.

They have acted in a unilateral and unprecedented way.

Democrats cannot cave. They must fight back.

I'm voting NO on the Republican shutdown bill.

NO on handing Donald Trump and Elon Musk a blank check to spend your taxpayer money however they want.

NO on cutting funding that helps families put food on the table and crack down on wealthy tax cheats.

We need to push back.

The CR passed in the House will provide a blank check for Trump and Musk to continue their savage war against working families, the elderly, children, the sick and the poor in order to lay the groundwork for massive tax breaks for billionaires.

This is a bill I cannot support.

Or to put it another way: It’s midnight and I’m yelling even more because I’ve had it with Chuck Schumer and I think a lot of people have.

It’s not even about primarying him anymore. It’s just following him around DC and yelling at him to step down now and yes, I know about Politics & Prose.
One angle I’m working is telling my senators, even if they’re voting ‘no’ on cloture, that they need to tell Chuck Schumer it’s time to resign.

Schumer’s betrayal of the American people is so beyond the pale, he needs to go now.

Update:

The OPM protests I’ve been organizing have been fruitful in many ways and let’s just say today I’m gathering that fruit.

Irony is, because of that, I may not have bandwidth for an OPM protest tonight.

I’ll keep you posted.

The morning OPM protests are still happening. Please join them!
