I actually think it provides an opportunity for a Dem in 2028 to sell the idea of public service as adventurous. That restoring and reviving all that's being torn down can provide that alternative to the cynical, reactionary rabbit holes people fall into. New Deal meets the New Frontier.

USAID, Peace Corps, Radio Free Europe, Park Rangers, USPS, even wants to shrink the Army by 90k
