#miniaturepainting more @reaperminiatures.bsky.social minis fast and loose. More underpainting for shadows. Reds over brown and orange looked more okay than I thought, though this was twenty minutes of slopping paint just to see what I'd get.

#miniaturepainting one of ZBSminiature's Manzu Ama Strike Team during my experiments with undershade shadows. Used ninjon's technique of lower blue wet blended into red above, then red over, and oh boy I am kinda mad how good this looked with two hours of effort. Getting interested in light/shadow.

#miniaturepainting a StationForge Socratis Infantry model, using him to try out shadows and underpainting. I think I'm starting to figure things out a little, certainly getting bigger contrast. Sponges give me better results than this for fast work, clearly, but my brush work is speeding up.

Spent half the day hobbying. 70% was deep cleaning my printer and doping my abslike with tenacious for a test print. 30% was spending hours absolutely flailing around and managing to get two daggers painted NMM steel and repainting a robot thrice so he looks exactly the same but worse. 9_9

Friday #miniaturepainting post! @jluna3d.bsky.social 's Death Knight. I'm finally getting comfortable and fast with skin and OSL so I tried some new NMM and it kinda worked? Painting individual panels was less work than I expected and the effect is pretty tight.
