So ima just let the BattleTech folks know now that Death From Above Wargaming aka DFA are chuds. They always were but we never talked about it much. They're very cool with hateful speech in their comments and are only getting worse with nazitech embracing their AI art.

I tried doing soviet winter paint on a 'mech at @einherjarvalk.bsky.social 's suggestion. The first attempt was weird but this one turned out pretty good.

For the record I use a Pixel 6 Pro because it *doesn't* force filters outside of its own app. Although i'm keen for a linux phone to go to market because Google can catch fire.

Miniature painters ask in my circles alot about cameras. Of course you always have a camera in your pocket.
But Samsung in particular is lousy about applying sharpness and contrast filters. Even if you use opencamera. You cant turn it off. I'd like to talk to the jerk at Samsung who did that.

I might call it quits on wargaming fandom. Its a lot of stress and not very fun. I blew a looooot of money on miniatures over the years but they dont make me happy. I will try to find other things to occupy myself maybe.
