Can you help grow $ for an international aphasia awareness campaign?
Imagine not being able to communicate. Imagine not having the words to explain why you can't.

We are raising funds for the first global #aphasia awareness campaign. Here's where we are up to!

Give if you can or host a morning tea or bake sale, & please share.

#Aphasia affects millions - yet awareness remains heartbreakingly low.

The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia have pledged AU$72,958 in funding to launch a co-designed awareness campaign...if we can match it.

Functional communication is an outdated term in aphasia. Doedens paper provides a good rationale for the criteria but it begs the question why add context etc to clinical tasks when real life is just out the door.
