We know communication partner training is extremely important for carers of people w #aphasia, but what about other interventions? Our PhD candidate @nelsonjslp.bsky.social conducted a review. There are lots of promising approaches! Most with exploratory evidence only.

People with milder #aphasia are often discharged early from rehabilitation as they are perceived to be “recovered.” And yet - they experience frustrating language difficulties, reduced confidence, and difficulty keeping up in conversations and returning to work. 1/5
