Why not at this point? America has a long, proud, tradition of letting the wealthy get away with crime. Every crisis we are facing today is a direct result of our justice system refusing to hold the wealthy to the same standard of the law that ordinary citizens are held to.

SCOTUS violates the Constitution on a regular basis. Presidential immunity is one major instance. Citizens United another. NOWHERE does the Constitution give the court the power to write law, especially in the ability to support a blatantly treasonous criminal. They are complicit actors in a crime.

If the Democratic Party wants to lead again, they need to get very comfortable with mass indictments, guilty verdicts and capital punishment for treason so this never happens again.

While i do agree that they shouldnt be able to seperate themselves from the consequences of their party's actions, I feel that specifying MAGA republicans or Trump republicans does exactly that. It allows other republicans to say "well im not one of those." Republicans made this happen, all of them.
