For any elected official who needs to hear this, I impart a lesson learned from the NFL:

When the other team is tired and on the back foot, you don’t call a timeout so they can catch their breath. You grind their fucking face into the dirt until the final whistle blows and you’ve won the game.

@democrats.org This is just the beginning. You don't get to fake amnesia and vote for DHS funding now. Two Americans and many of our immigrant neighbors are still dead. Others brutalized and separated from loved ones. Our 1A and 2A rights have been thrown in the trash. Impeach and remove them all!

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

This is a must-read. The most unqualified, greedy, vain people are being given important positions and destroying our institutions. Each anecdote about their "leadership" is worst than the last. *Gift article*

This is the absolute bare minimum. His lies and the atrocities he and his goons have committed against the people of the United States should not be rewarded with retirement benefits. He's floating off on a parachute. Multiple people are still dead and brutalized without accountability.
BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

CNN calling Tom Homan "well respected" and "not as hardline as Bovino" is an interesting choice. The dude took a $50,000 bribe in a fucking Cava bag and says all the same fascist shit as Bovino and Noem.

Our VA Secretary wants all of his employees who serve our nation’s veterans to understand that if masked federal agents execute you on the streets in cold blood, he will not give a damn about you and will use your death as an opportunity to spread propaganda for the President.

Kristi Noem and her department’s latest attempt to mislead the American public regarding the brutal and unjustified killing of Alex Pretti is deeply shameful, and she must be impeached and removed from office immediately.

These monsters have worked for decades to create an America in which it's perfectly okay for civilians to walk around with a loaded weapon, and now they're saying if you have a gun at a protest, the state can murder you.
BARTIROMO: There is outrage across the country that there is another killing. Someone is dead at the hands of Border Patrol. What can you tell us?

KASH PATEL: You do not get to attack law enforcement officials in this country without any repercussions. We not messing around.

Dems should introduce legislation now defunding ICE and CBP operations in Minnesota, so they have to leave the state. One sentence bill. Demand an immediate vote. Maybe refuse to vote for cloture on any funding bills (or other bills) until a vote. Make the GOP Congress break w/ Trump or own it all.

Nonviolence is, in fact, working. This administration is weaker than it was a year ago. More and more of the public is becoming galvanized against it; its agents are being impeded.
Do you honestly think people in the civil rights movement and other nonviolent movements faced no violence themselves? They practiced nonviolence because it works, because the oppressor wants a shooting war, which is the war it will win
How's your non-violent working Mr Gandhi stancil? They will kill each and everyone of you right if they had the chance and you will still be writing Kumbaya.

Great. Will Senate Democrats also stop voting for any of the cretins Trump nominates to a post? When we say don't vote for anything, we mean anything. If it weren't for Rubio, Hegseth, and the DHS nominees, hundreds of people would be alive today, including Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included.

Observers have been working day and night to protect these neighborhoods from ICE, make the streets safe so kids can go to school and people can go to their jobs. Burning down the street undoes all our work. The people setting fires haven’t been putting in long hours watching plates or doors.

After having been caught in multiple lies under oath, Greg Bovino would be on any local prosecutor's Brady/"Do Not Use" list and probably the subject of an IA investigation. Yet, the federal government continues to give him authority and make him their spokesman using our hard earned money.
