I’ve been thinking a lot about the dangers of fervent nationalism in Canada. While it seems good now it will go down a dark path that may end up with the same fascism we’re trying to avoid.

Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable seeing academic institutions, universities, departments continuing to post about their achievements/announcements on Twitter/X pretending as if nothing has changed? Echoes of #BLM in 2022 when some orgs felt it was better to pretend nothing had changed.
