Mom, entrepreneur, sailor, skier, cyclist. I love sewing, knitting and am trying to save the planet for my kids.
This past weekend, I packed up the travel (kid) sewing machine and took it to a youth hockey tournament in western PA. I fixed a Nikko (True/Bias) turtleneck that had some stitches pop, finished a pair of gray Pleat (Ready to Sew) pants and started a Remy Raglan (Sew House 7) top.

I decided to give Bluesky a try again. I'm attempting to wean myself off of Facebook, Threads elevates my blood pressure and I've removed it from my mobile devices, Insta is still fun and so is YT. Hoping to find a community of people who sew, knit, craft.

Neither of Marco Rubio's parents were U.S. citizens at the time of his birth in 1971 in Miami. They applied for U.S. citizenship and were naturalized in 1975.

There is some really sick shit going on at the top of this country right now.

If you're 60, 69.1% of all job growth since your birth occurred under Democratic administrations.

If you're 45, that number is 74.7%.

If you're under 30, the number is 100%.

Do I have this right? Elon Musk - the guy in charge of preventing wasteful spending - dropped $40M on a Super Bowl ad?

We could permanently house 800 homeless veterans for $40M. Or provide five million meals to the hungry. Or replace lead pipes in 8,500 homes.

Like a fucking election.
