Not my usual style - not a sequin kinda person at all - but it was a fun project in a year I've had no energy to play at all.

(the blue is my washed out old tablecloth, not part of the piece at all!)

A beautiful #Roman blue glass bowl, recovered during excavations in the city of Nijmegen (Netherlands). Not only is it a very lovely piece of glass, but it was actually found completely intact - not even a crack! - which is remarkable for a piece of 2000 year old glassware! AncientBlueSky

Gluten free sandwich loaf!

It only took five years from coeliac diagnosis to discover a reliable and tasty bread recipe - this one from the Loopy Whisk's blog

Found my husband's missing Christmas sweater during forced decluttering, so a very Frazetta Christmas it will be....

(Sorry, I know it's only November, but it might be lost again by December)

A beautiful #Roman necklace made of gold & amethyst - definitely a design I would still wear today (but not this exact one, it being 1800-1900 years old..!) AncientBlueSky #Archaeology

Gluten free sourdough loaf...

Well, almost - I didn't have enough faith in Winifred (my starter) even though she was quite frisky, so I did add a little yeast

And apparently I am supposed to wait 24 hours before cutting

Yeah, right

Apparently elsewhere on social media, writers are supposed to consider other authors are their competition. No, that's really not the way things work. We encourage and support each other in this challenging business and recommend each others' books because a rising tide lifts all the boats.

New strategy!
I mean, this is all well and good but let's not forget that the only way to actually succeed as a writer is to hunt down a better-selling author and messily eat their still-beating heart over a typewriter that you will then use to write your next book. I read this in SAVE THE CAT so it must be true.
