Alt Text: Doug Ford, currently under RCMP investigation, panders to his base by wearing an OPP sweatshirt while pretending to pack boxes at a food bank instead of improving rent control, increasing the minimum wage, building homes, increasing ODSP, or helping in any meaningful way at all really.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to get more involved in fighting creeping Christofascism, clear your schedule on January 10.

The last time these ding dongs tried to march at Christie Pits they were outnumbered 10-1.

I bet we can do better than that this time.

Ford closed the science centre for no reason, is shrinking it dramatically, and gov’t doesn’t want you to know the truth about this.

Doug Ford shrinks Ontario Science Centre to fit in temporary home at Toronto Harbourfront
The space is a fraction of the size of the original building in Don Mills, which has been closed since June, 2024

This move to Harbourfront is, basically, a merger of two institutions into one building 1/8 the size of the old Science Centre.

The government made up a nonsense statistic (86,000) to try and cover this up.

It worked

Dear Ontario…

(And me. I’m exhausted and struggling to stay engaged - which is what they want.)

Boring persistence is where I used to live. Time to move back in.
It’s all so exhausting but stay engaged even when the news feels like a migraine wearing a trench coat. Authoritarianism counts on exhaustion. Democracy depends on very boring persistence.

“The legislature sat for just 51 days in 2025.”

Please remember this the next time teachers’ contracts expire and Doug Ford, Paul Calandra, and the rest of the PCs try to tell the public that we are lazy and entitled.

Enjoy your 102-day winter break, Doug.

Time and time again, families are the ones paying the price for Doug Ford's failures.

Every dollar that's handed to Conservative insiders is taken away from workers and public services.

Northwest Toronto's newly-opened light-rail transit (LRT) line is getting its first taste of rush hour Monday — but it doesn't appear to be rushing.

Doug Ford *falsely claiming* he has the power to audit his enemies when he doesn’t actually have that power is still a news story

But it’s kind of a different story than one uncritically accepting the premise that the Premier of Ontario can order the federal government to audit his enemies

Doug Ford tells someone protesting his disastrous Bill 60 to find a job.

The gall of the laziest premier telling someone to get a job.

He’s a loathsome human and absolute shambles of a leader who has never had the best interests of anyone but himself in mind during his reign of destruction.
