Is he going to ignore the rules on election spending? 🤨
Farage going all out for the locals this May… spending millions to con voters into believing he’ll fix what he made sure he broke. Pleased that his base likes his racism. Strutting around in his brexity soiled pants like the big I am.

Please let’s bin him off now.

UK PM Keir Starmer to woo voters & MPs with plan to cut cost of living.

Can't be done without curbing profiteering, increasing real wages, democratizing the workplace, equitable distribution of income/wealth.

Start by ending privatisation of water/energy.

🚨 “Can I tell you how many times in the last 45 years the European Court of Human Rights has ruled against the UK when it comes to deporting people from this country - only 13 times - in 45 years”

Please remember this in 2026 when Nigel Farage tells you we must leave the ECHR to control our borders
Human rights are universal - politicians may not always find them politically convenient but it shouldn’t fall to any government to say who those rights should & should not apply to. Because none of us then has rights, just privileges that can be taken away by those in power

Normally not in the keeping of a Christmas/New Year spirit to wish misfortune on anyone but I hope 2026 brings the complete downfall of Trump in the USA and Farage in the UK, and their departure in disgrace followed in both cases by a re-awakening of humanity towards all.

I'm with you on the flags Bear. I got into quite a heated debate on our local Facebook group. Quite the pile-on but now I know who the racists are in my village and who painted the roundabout. 🤨 I crossed them off my Christmas card list. 😂
Which political event from 2025* left your flabbers the most gasted?

Mine definitely has to be the inexplicable rise of the flag shatters and DOGE failing on both sides of the Atlantic.

*Submissions from the UK, the peri-apocalyptic nightmare that is the US and other locales more than welcome.

Even by my low expectations for Kemi Badenoch ‘violence against women and girls is something done by immigrants and nobody else’ has shocked me.
Dog-whistle and factually incorrect. Ladies, raise your hand if you were sexually assaulted by a boy at school? I’d wager this or a family member is most women’s first experience of sexual violence

The idea of “imported” violence against women and girls is a deeply comforting fiction - one that allows people to avoid looking at where it actually happens: within our homes and behind closed doors.
The Violence Isn’t Imported. It’s Domestic.
Kemi Badenoch’s attempt to blame violence against women on migrants doesn’t just collapse under scrutiny - it actively distracts us from where the harm really happens, and who is actually responsible.
