😠 Russian occupation authorities have sentenced 21-year-old Yana Suvorova, the administrator of the Telegram channel “Melitopol Is Ukraine,” to 14 years in prison.

She was arrested in August 2023. She was only 19 at the time.

Two facts to remember about the World War II in Europe: 1) more Ukrainian civilians were killed than russians; 2) more Ukrainian soldiers died fighting Nazis than Americans, British, and Frenchmen - taken together. Today, Ukraine continues to pay the price fighting russian fascism.

Allowing Immortal Regiment marches in European cities is not a manifestation of democracy. It is a direct invitation for Russian tanks.

Forgive me for being so blunt.

And today in Sumy, Easter cakes look like this — charred, amidst the burning, after another russіаn аttack.

Hi all, just sent out the follow up piece on the specifics of how the US deliberately aided Ukraine not to win, which comes out of a continually flawed US view of war to begin with. The US was arrogant, provided Russia with sanctuary, tried to micro manage a war…. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

Three years since Bucha was liberated, when the world saw what russian occupation really meant. Bodies left in the streets. Torture chambers in basements. Graves in the yards of ordinary houses.

In 33 days of occupation, 561 civilians were killed — including 12 children.

"Russia defeated in Ukraine, Kremlin-regime collapses, Putin has disappeared".
This could easily become reality if we only want it. Russia is fighting a war against us, we are not even defending ourselves.

Imagine European security now if Ukrainians didn't hold the line in the East. Europe would be on the brink of a full scale war.
Maybe it's time Europeans started to appreciate the sacrifices Ukrainians have made and are making to keep Europe safe? The least we can do is to say "thank you".
