I knew when I saw Andy Harris drop in a “present” with Garbarino and Schweikert taking a walk that we’d be inundated with this take, which is understandable but wrong. They had 4 more votes if they’d needed them. Republicans did this, they made decisions, they don’t deserve to be excused this way

There's been a lot of attention lately on JD Vance's sordid conversion from Trump critic to avid Trumpist/VP.

But less attention has been paid to Vance's previous criticisms of GOP Medicaid cuts. That should be a big focus now with the House GOP bill:

Clyburn: "There's nothing wrong with bringing the govt in balance, but there's a problem when that balance comes on the back of working men and women ... when Trump indicated that he ought to be raising taxes on the wealthy, he got our attention. But then he retreated from that almost immediately."

If President Biden was addled…..he sure did a great job! He was the most effective president in my lifetime so the results sure don’t match the accusation.

Meanwhile the Felon Dotard is ranting like a lunatic and destroying American because his feelings got hurt.

Sure, let’s dissect the mental and physical acuity of the former president who sought to make lives in America better while minimizing the reality of a deranged arsonist dismantling the country we’ve known and loved. What a failure to meet this moment.

I marched in a big city today, depicted in photos by an indistinguishable sea of people, which has beauty in its magnitude. Our small town protesters, though, rallied while their actual neighbors, relatives, grocery clerks, and co-workers drove by and saw them. That’s how we change hearts and minds.
