Firewood Banks Aren’t Inspiring. They’re a Sign of Collapse.
Rural communities are banding together to chop firewood so that people in need can heat their homes. This shouldn’t be necessary.

JD's family has spent $35M on vacations.

Kash Patel used a $60M FBI jet to go on a date.

Trump spent $98M to golf for 24% of the days of this term.

ALL WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS.

But you think a single mom getting $6 a day for SNAP is the problem?

It seems likely that, once all the votes are in, somewhere around 10 million Californians went to the polls on Tuesday. That's well short of last year's turnout of more than 16 million, but last year ...

To understand what was at stake here: in VA, the AG gets to appoint university counsel. From Jim Ryan’s forced resignation to the (mercifully) reject “Compact” to the odious and bizarre “settlement,” UVA has been hamstrung by counsel chosen by the state’s GOP administration. That’s about to change.

Zelensky is a genius. He started his 1v1 meeting with Trump by thanking Melania Trump for sending Putin a letter asking for Ukraine's children to be returned. Zelensky then gave trump a letter for his wife from the First Lady of Ukraine.

Trump was pretty mild after that.

The deployment of federalized National Guard troops to California, without consent from local or state officials, is deeply troubling. These are tactics seen in authoritarian regimes, not in America. We want to be clear, the military should not be used to police civilians.
