Tomorrow (March 5) is St Piran’s Day. He is the patron saint of Cornwall. The beach of Perranporth gets its name from the Cornish for St Piran’s Cove and is where he came ashore on his journey from Ireland. On the eve, here is a sunset from ‘St Piran’s Cove.’
