If the need is land for housing, why not focus on legislation to re-evaluate public lands status/zoning? That would be more effective in protecting land from what I gather. This feels like too broad of a stroke of legislation to combat the issue IMO, what I am missing?

In America last year, nearly 40 million workers made less than $17 an hour. Unacceptable.

Nobody in America can make it on $7.25 an hour, $9 an hour or $12 an hour.

We need an economy in which all of our workers earn a living wage.

The top 7 donors in the 2024 election — all GOP — gave a combined $1B to buy Trump a second term.

It's a gigantic amount of money in total — but it's just pocket change to them.

We must get Big Money out of politics.

No one from either party should be able to buy an election.

When Amazon launched in 1995, there were 5,500 indie bookshops in the U.S., with 7,000 locations. By May of 2023, that number had decreased to 2,185 indies & 2,599 locations.

When you purchase audiobooks via Libro.fm vs. Audible, you directly support indie bookshops. Let's make that number grow ❤️
