At the moment, I'm regrettably not reading Agatha Christie in a Scottish Highlands cottage during a raging snowstorm whilst enjoying a plate of emotional support scones, so no, I'm afraid your email did not "find me well."

The lighting and angle of the aisle were horrible, and I'm a goof, but I'm still tickled my sweetie got a picture of me in front of this particular set before we saw White Christmas yesterday. I'm trying to be a bit festive this year to beat holiday depression, despite everything. 🤞

On this day in 1974: Instead of saving energy for the Oil Crisis, permanent Daylight Saving Time wasted millions of barrels of oil, due to increased heating needs on unnaturally darkened mornings. #OTD

you'll spend your entire life thinking "that's not her, not really" and pushing the thought away. you'll never truly grieve. you'll become attached to a simulacrum, something that isn't your grandmother & never was; it will eventually replace her in your memory. you will live in hell before you die

The American Dream! It doesn't mean buying a house, it means Buy Now Pay Later for everything. That's the dream! And now BNPLs are being packaged up like mortgages in the 2008 housing bubble and collapse, which is a great sign.

Today I choose to see beauty in nature’s cycles,
whether it be the rain-soaked blooms,
or the sun-burnt grass;
the joyful seasons of planting and harvest,
and the quiet moments between
when everything softens into rest
as our planet earth continues its happy spin.

Happy #Chooseday, friends. 🌱

Thanksgiving leftovers were better than yesterday's feast. My mom brought her Veganized stuffing. 🥰 The cranberries are my favorite part though.

The main was this recipe (except I used mashed beans instead of lentils and added onions to the sauce). www.rabbitandwolves.com/vegan-lentil...

My Thanksgiving pies are cooling.🥵 I've used both of these recipes before (for the fillings only), and they were both very good. Definitely recommended. For crusts, I always Veganize a Julia Child pastry recipe.

I was raised Catholic, but I grew out of theism at 10. A thing that stuck with me was the concept of Ordinary Time. As an adult, I prefer Ordinary Time. The words became poetry to me. They mean less pressure to be happy and less guilt that life hasn't gone according to plan. It's just days passing.
