Old fellow from North London, first FA cup final I went to was 70-71, 2-1 to Arsenal. Went to Anfield in 89. Best footballing moment ever. Will never, ever be beaten.

Just sunk in that Nuno Espírito Santo is closer to Champions League qualification with Nottingham Forest than he was with Spurs.

Factoid: Arsenal have already completed two of the five most expensive transfers worldwide this year for players aged 28 and older: Merino (€32M) and Raya (€31.9M).

Good video here about Tel.

Shows what he's good at, what he's not very good at, where he can be improved through good coaching.

An interesting prospect for sure, but have a look at the video before getting too over hyped by him

Discussion overload since the game over the weekend. If you have time for more Arsenal in your life since that red card, here's the Handbrake Off pod.

I think Arteta should try to win on Wednesday. I used the potential CL paths forward to make my case why here (free read):

Mikel Arteta has to go for a win Wednesday
Arsenal are exhausted, but coming at short at Girona could make it worse. Here's why.

If you have a Microsoft account and now also have co-pilot, you are being charged extra. When you go to your account, it will look like you cannot change to a cheaper subscription. Go to 'cancel' and you will get a cheaper, non-AI option.

I have no idea how it is legal what Microsoft are doing.

I think the Premier League / PGMOL are seriously trolling us at this point.

The image below is the image used on their page which defines High Foot Challenges.

The only issue with this image is that NO FOUL was awarded LOL.

Referees are functionaries but they’ve been elevated to celebrities, particularly in the PL.

Webb himself is very much that, now, what with his high-profile TV gig and media presence. This does nothing to help. Moreso it reinforces a sense of self-importance/ego within the refereeing community.
Howard Webb thinks referees are there to change games. He thinks fans pay to watch referees and one of the very comfortable matey broadcasters who are close to him needs to burst his bubble and tell him that nobody wants that.

Chelsea are 1 win, 3 draws, and 3 losses in the Premier League since Maresca ruled them out of the title race. I think his players took that a bit too much to heart that they weren’t in it and wanted to prove it.

So looking forward to Dale Johnson, Dermot Gallagher, and co. explaining why Lewis-Skelly’s challenge was clearly a straight red but Gomes’ challenge was a yellow.

Anyone with sense admits the ref has got one of the two decisions wrong. Let’s see what happens.
