I’m sure this has been said by people smarter than me but I’m pretty sure Trump’s tariff threats are meant to serve two purposes - to test the loyalties of the party members and to demonstrate his unchecked power. Both of those concepts are terrifying.

This has given me more hope than I’ve had in some time in our elected officials.

Anyone else’s Alexas acting strangely? I have 1 with a screen that has been glitching since Black Friday week and the other one randomly plays music sometimes. I came home yesterday to an empty house and Alexa playing jazz. Happens semi-regularly now. About to unplug them both.

This is how I feel about spending money too 🥲 I spend almost nothing because it’s too exhausting to determine who deserves my dollars.
Unfortunately I have to skip every country song now because I do not have time to look up where each artist stands on controversial subjects like if presidents should obey laws

Tonight I’m going to see Diary of Anne Frank at a local theater and I will once again be horrified that nobody in govt interfered.
On my way home, I will catch up on any unchecked EOs that passed in my three hour absence from news on a weekend evening.
