In my mind Kimmel’s not the problem, nor is Disney, ABC, corporate America bending the knee to fascists or even ICE. The problem is that one third of Americans think Trump is so great they elected him twice - and they still think he’s their guy. And I don’t know how you fix that.

How @espn.com do such a good job covering the @wnba.com but screw up its coverage of the @nba.com so badly? Why run with the tedious and plodding Doris Burke when the far superior Rebecca Lobo is on staff? Or they could bring in Candace Parker or Nancy Lieberman. I don’t get it.

A government leader 3 terms into his tenure owes the electorate at least a basic understanding of treaty & constitutional rights. Anything less makes him grossly unfit for office.
Doug Ford apologizes to First Nations for ‘hat in hand’ comments

I hear No Kings Day was a success. Ok all is forgiven America - we know you didn’t really mean to vote him in twice. And those 38% of your fellow citizens who still think Trump is just fine? That’s only a mistake too, right?
New Quinnipiac poll:

Trump’s approval:
Disapprove: 54%
Approve: 38%

Trump’s “big, beautiful” bill:
53% oppose
27% support

Handling of immigration:
54% disapprove
43% approve

It turns out that the very best No Kings Day protest yesterday was the one staged by the United States Armed Forces in Washington—because if you've seen any of the military experts on social media or cable news today you know that their poor marching was deliberate and intended as an insult to Trump

Hey America - #nokings is an impressive display - maybe next time you could turn out like this before electing a fascist twice. Because this feels a little late.

a side note: this is as frontal an assault on the US by Israel as I've ever seen, and there have been some bad ones. This is Israel blowing up the planned negotiations in Oman tomorrow between the Trump envoy and Iran. This is Netanyahu saying the US can't do diplomacy he doesn't sign off on.

The line that "Easter Islanders cut down the last tree to move the giant statues" is an ugly lie — they were done in by Imperialism.

But "Canadians built more pipelines so they could sell more oil while the country burned because of climate change brought on by burning oil" is the absolute truth.
The fact that Canadian leaders continue to have "Let's build more pipelines" conversations while Saskatchewan and Manitoba are being decimated by wildfires is just wild to me
