The EU plans to implement a digital payment service which will be free of charge and replace the Visa/Mastercard/Paypal/Google/Apple methods which all charge 1-3% for nothing, it will be the standard payment method in the EU.

It's time for Europe to recognize its own strength, the EU alone is the Worlds 2nd largest economy 2025. The EU, GB and Norway have a combined military spending of $615 Billion 2025,nearly five times that of Russia and will reach $850 Billion within 5 years,almost in line with USA.
