In the post Brexit Britain, Starmer has to cosy up to Trump in an effort to maintain the economic viability of the UK.
Our heavy reliance on the USA for our industry and defence makes it difficult to go against Trump and therefore it’s a difficult line to navigate for the British government.

There seems to be a disconnect in British political reporting!
On the one hand I’m seeing reports that there is a majority who want to rejoin the European Union and the other we are being told that Reform are leading in the polls.
Both can’t be true, can they?
