Did you know that if you sneeze and fart at the same time...

Your body takes a screenshot.

Bit of a hypocrite, aren't we Shapps? Not to mention one heck of an insult to railway workers everywhere - especially to those who were involved in the horrific incident on an LNER train last weekend.

On behalf of railway workers everywhere - f*** off Shapps!

You ask somebody not to do something, and 99% of the time they comply. You ask a cyclist not to do something, and you're nearly always met with abuse.

Granted, not all are like that, but it definitely seems to be the majority at the moment...

"But you're just a nobody railway worker..."

Funny how that's the only response from people when they can't be told anything 😂

Nope, not today 🤣
"I think not, you feathery little fuck"

Little bit of fun on my part, however this definitely summed up the fun on the rails last week... 😂

A little bit of action on the Portsmouth Direct this morning. 444040 is seen leading 1P19 southbound, followed just under an hour later by @clanline35028.bsky.social working 1Z90 from London Victoria to Salisbury.

Farncombe 26/04/2025.

Glad to have finally caught up with this one! Southeastern 465908 is seen passing Wandsworth Road on 07/04/2025, firstly solo on 2U28 (London Vic - Gravesend), and secondly on the rear of 2U40 (London Vic - Gravesend).

Such a lovely looking nod to the classic NSE colours!

Such a huge loss to the railway scene, Gordon was truly one of a kind. My thoughts are with his family and friends #GordonPettitt #RIP
We’re deeply saddened to announce that Gordon Pettitt passed away on 31st March. He was charming, knowledgeable, supportive; a manager of the old school.
Our thoughts are with his family and his friends - we are honoured to have known him.

Far too relatable... 🤣
Day late but still 😂

Note to the general public. When using big overground trains, don't just stand there expecting the doors to open automatically like they do on the London Underground. There's a little button beside the door, why not give that a push instead?

That's not too difficult is it? 🙄

When you're not fully awake, get to the station and see your train to work turn up early for the first time in what feels like centuries...

Come on guys, let a man have his coffee first before subjecting him to such sorcery 😂

You know it's going to be a good day when the local Conservatives get their wish and have this year's local elections cancelled, thanks to Labour offering it as part of their devolution plans...

If I had a choice, I'd be leaving Surrey the first chance I get!

Bit of an odd one at Clapham Junction today. Not sure how often Class 710s make appearances on Mildmay Line services, so this one certainly caught my attention!

Here is 710377 arriving with 2Y88 from Stratford, conveniently bringing some welcome sunshine with it.

This is one (just one mind) of so many reasons why this sociopath is hated by so many worldwide... and of course those on his skip fire of a social media site just lap it up regardless...

Goes to prove being wealthy often leads to having no braincells 🙄

Great to catch this one on the CrossCountry diversions at Guildford. 220005 is seen leading 220014 down the gradient from the Ash line with 1O12 (Manchester Piccadilly - Bournemouth) on 12/01/2025.

First photography trip of the year, and this isn't a bad way to get things started either! 56094 is seen heading south through Artington (near Guildford) with 6C01 (Ashford International - Eastleigh East Yard) on 12/01/2025.

Always a pleasure seeing a Grid in this day and age 🙂

You don't see these sneaking up the Portsmouth Direct too often! 159107 leads 159101 and 159018 towards Farncombe with an unexpected 5Y50 (Salisbury TRSMD - Wimbledon Park CSD) on 31/12/2024.

Always nice to get one last surprise before the year is out!

Can't say I'm surprised in the slightest, the man (like the rag he owns) is nothing but gutter trash...
This is Lord Rothermere the owner of the Daily Mail.

He lives in a massive mansion in the English countryside, but he pays no tax here because he identifies as French.

While the Daily Mail is registered in Bermuda and pays no tax anywhere.

That is his ‘Patriotism’.

Fun and games on the F1 groups again this morning, seems the fans of a certain driver can't take what they dish out and resort to insults when called out on it...

Now, where did I put the popcorn? 😂

Yet again I find restrictions on my Facebook profile, simply because I dared to call somebody out for some rather racist views... yet the person making those views is allowed to continue making them with no repercussions...

Well done Facebook... well done indeed 👏

Classic bit of Southern traction at a classic Southern Region location. West Country Class No. 34046 'Braunton' is slowing for the stop at Godalming with the Christmas Market Express to Bath Spa on 11/12/2024.

Always lovely to see steam at the local, even more so when it makes a stop there! 😁

I'd be on my arse had that been me... 🤣
That's one way to do it 🤣

Rough old day on the iron road today, definitely wasn't easy dealing with the multiple problems across the network. Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day 🤞

Onwards and upwards!

A little visit to a location I've been wanting to get to for ages! 377157 (typically the only train I got in the sun 😆), 69002, 69005 and 171808 all seen at Riddlesdown Viaduct on 02/12/2024 🙂
