This is a fascinating little data point into Orbanism.

According to Google, Hungary is the biggest spender by a large margin (in political ads). The top 10 European political spenders are dominated by the HU govt, with 5 entities.

Note that the Italian and Romanian far right is also there.

De az európai top 10-be a költések alapján befér még a Fidesz, a Mediaworks, a Miniszterelnöki Kabinetiroda és a Szuverenitásvédelmi Hivatal is.

The conditions that have led to what’s happening in the US today exist in democracies around the world.
They are an inevitable outcome of our collective failure to adapt to fundamental changes in the information ecosystem on which our democracies were originally built.

Worth watching if you, like me, constantly deal with criticism and rejection within the academy and professional research.
As an academic are you tired of rejection?

Russia
Belarus
North Korea
Cuba

They apparently took the time to impose tariffs on several uninhabited islands, so the omissions are extra noteworthy. If you spot others please flag!

As a result, 1,105 European and Canadian soldiers died in the 20-year Afghanistan war - 1/3 of all coalition casualties

I don't recall the Europeans demanding America surrender its mineral wealth in exchange for their help
